What Data We Collect
We collect your email address, display name, and optionally a profile photo. If you sign in with Google, we also receive your name, email, and profile photo from Google. We record exam and practice session data (questions answered, scores, timestamps) to display your progress within the app.
How We Use Your Data
We use your data exclusively to provide and operate TestDrive AM: to authenticate you, maintain your session, display your exam history, and send one-time verification codes to your email via Resend. We do not use your data for advertising profiling or sell it to any third party.
Third-Party Services
We use the following services, each governed by their own privacy policy:
- Supabase — database, authentication, file storage (privacy policy)
- Google Sign-In — OAuth authentication (privacy policy)
- Resend — email delivery for OTP codes (privacy policy)
- Google AdMob — in-app advertising for free users (privacy policy)
Content Source
All driving theory test questions provided in this app are sourced from publicly available information published by the Republic of Armenia Police on their official website police.am. This content is publicly accessible and is used solely for educational purposes. TestDrive AM is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to the Republic of Armenia Police.
Advertising
Free users of TestDrive AM may see advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized ads via your device's advertising settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads). Users with a TestDrive AM Pro subscription (monthly or one-time) do not see advertisements.
Your Rights & Account Deletion
Regardless of your location, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time.
To request account deletion:
- Send an email to sohrab.niroo@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
- Include the email address associated with your TestDrive AM account in the body of the email.
- We will verify your identity and process the deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted:
- Your account and authentication data (email, display name, profile photo)
- All exam and practice session history (scores, answers, timestamps)
- Any uploaded files (profile photos stored in our servers)
- Language and theme preferences
Once deletion is complete, this action is permanent and irreversible. No data will be retained after processing. You may also request a data export before deletion by mentioning it in your email.
Data Retention
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. We do not retain personal data for inactive accounts beyond what is necessary for the operation of the service. Upon a deletion request, all account data and exam history will be permanently and irreversibly removed within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated analytics (e.g. total number of exams taken) may be retained, but these cannot be linked back to any individual user.
Children
TestDrive AM is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
